![]() ![]() Not that we haven't tried some since, but it was obviously still full of the same old problems ruining our fun, plus the rotten new crap they dumped in before abandoning the game. We basically gave up on co-op even before the last big game-sabotaging update played havoc with the game balance, because it was so routinely dissatisfying and frustrating, especially with crashes leaving you with no xp for the whole run and good runs getting cut short. It can just come across as occasional random misfires unless you pay close attention or know about the idiotic problem where your items get fired off by any summon shooting. The item-firing bug is hard to ignore unless host just avoids triggered items (some people do simply ignore them because they're so dangerous to the user) or usually fires before client (keeping them on cooldown). If you don't play side-by-side, it's easy to not realize one player simply doesn't see shops/upgrades. The game allows co-op in local or online co-op with up to four friends. There are plenty of other subs for this kind of thing - take it there instead. Here you can get endless ammo, connect a zombie apocalypse, or increase prices. Pornography is obscenity and historically it hasn't been considered a part of free speech. One exception: This is a safe for work subreddit, so please don't post porn games, H-games ("hentai games"), etc here. If you both do this your computer partner will soon disappear. You and your partner need to be at the same point in the story to connect, and can do so by going to the same point in the world and hitting up on the d-pad (not sure about PC) to send out a signal. Unless something is against the sitewide rules or is considered spam, it will not be censored here. The online coop is slightly less gimmicky than DS. This sub takes a very "free speech" approach to moderation. We are building a wiki which, among other things, has a more comprehensive list of Roguelites and Roguelikes. In my time with the game I played on the couch with 2 friends who also wanted to overthrow the mayor, though up to 4 players are supported both in local co-op or online (no combo co-op here). The term "roguelike-like" or "rogue-lite" has been used to distinguish these games that possess some, but not all, of the features from those that exactly meet the roguelike definition. If you're easily offended, it's probably not where you want to be. Be warned, this one is a free speech server. If you're looking for something a little spicier, this is my personal Discord for Roguelikes and Roguelites. As it stands, these are those games, I think you can have a lot of fun with all of them. ![]() It’s a tall order, and as such, I’ve only found a few games that fit the bill.
